3D Printing 101 (Beginner)
In our 3D printing class for beginners, learn how to design a 3D print, send it to slice in Ultimaker Cura, prepare the printer, and print! Learn about the types of filament, the ways to build 3D designs in TinkerCAD, and adjustments for a perfect print slice in Cura. Choose from many 3D designs from jewelry, shot glasses, frames, toys, dog tags and more. This class cost includes instruction, training in TinkerCAD, training in Ultimaker Cura, training on our 3D printer, and 3D Filament color of your choice for 1 3D printed item. Our 101 classes are taught one on one, no large groups. Please note that the actual 3D print itself can take up to 8 hours to complete, we will start your print in class but you will have to come back to pick it up at a later date.
Classes must be scheduled and paid for to reserve your spot. If you cannot make it to your class, you must give notice 24 hours before the class starts or you forfeit your right to reschedule or refund. Contact us at 443.343.2853 to reschedule.
